What's in your backyard?

While perusing our backyard one fine day, what did we discover? Tadpoles. A bunch of tadpoles. They are living in a water cooler full of rain and doing very well. When we go outside, they are a source of great interest now for the whole family. We have never had tadpoles before! Do you know what they eat?

A moonbow?

Sarah and I completed the Which Way USA? Kentucky book recently, and we both learned about the moonbow, a rare sight sometimes seen at the Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. It's the only place in North America where a moonbow happens regulary.

VA update

Mt. Olive asked OBT to be their interim pastor from September through December of this year, and he has accepted. Please keep us in your prayers as we will be making several trips back and forth in the coming weeks. Please also pray for this church as we seek to serve them to the best of our ability.

Back to school

OBT and I have been talking and praying for some time about finding something that I could do here at home. Something besides what I am already doing here at home. Because of this I have signed up for a medical transcription course through Gatlin Education Services which should last through December. This is the first step. After course completion we'll see where it takes us.
